“One of the most important times to wash your car is immediately after a rainfall,” said Kimball, who is also in charge of marketing for Quick Quack. There are a lot of reasons why a professional car wash is preferable to the rain. Quick Quack Car Wash utilizes only the latest technology to provide the cleanest possible car wash in just three minutes from start to finish. Our conveyorized tunnel means that customers don’t have to wait for the car in front of them to finish their wash cycle before the next one begins. We can wash over 100 cars in an hour.”

The Quick Quack Dealsaver is five “Shine” Car Washes for $24.99. The regular price for each “Shine” level wash is $11.99 each or $50 for five, so you save 50 percent. The Dealsaver certificate is valid at all nine Sacramento area Quick Quack locations. Here are some of the reasons Kimball says using Mother Nature’s Wet Wash isn’t a good idea:

Water pressure: Rainwater can only provide a light rinse that only creates mud and streaking, Kimball said. Even a strong rain does not have adequate pressure to remove dirt and there will always be a layer of grime that the rainwater won’t be able to dislodge.
Water quality: Quick Quack Car Washes use clean, filtered water that is better for your car than anything you’ll find coming out of a hose or falling from the sky.
Friction: Soft-cloth and foam brushes remove anything the high-pressure rinse cannot. The process is safe and very effective.
Chemistry: Low pH soap and pre-wash increase the cleaning potential of the high-pressure rinse and friction-cleaning systems alike. Conditioners, waxes and drying agents all work to make sure that your car’s surface receives the affordable short-term protection you need to keep your vehicle looking great, Kimball said.
Drying: Without the crucial final step of drying, rain (or any water) will leave spots made up from dirt and dust found in the air and rain.

Quick Quack started in Carmichael but is now based in Sacramento, and has quickly become one of the fastest-growing car wash chains in the nation. The company also owns Quick Quacks in Texas and Colorado.

One of the many reasons why Quick Quack is expanding so quickly, and has earned legions of fans throughout the West and Southwest, is because the business model is so friendly to the environment. Long gone are the days when automated car washes sent the dirty, oily water filled with chemicals down to the sewer. Quick Quack uses its “Green & Clean” water system that reclaims and recycles the water used in the car-washing process. The water is put through a high-tech filtration system that uses a fraction of the water that would have been used by Mother Nature’s Wet Wash. Only about 10 to 12 gallons of fresh water for each wash is used by Quick Quack, Kimball said, “Any water that is not reclaimed or has evaporated returns to the water supply through “Green & Clean” water system, resulting in nearly 100 percent recapture, Kimball said. “Water agencies are referring customers to professional car washes like Quick Quack Car Wash as a drought-friendly activity. We’re a proud member of WaterSavers, a car wash industry program dedicated to raising awareness for water conservation and environmentally friendly practices at professional car washes.”

Quick Quack was the first Sacramento-area car wash to be certified as a green car wash by the Sacramento Business Environmental Resource Center. Quick Quack also participates in the resource center’s green business program.

Quick Quack also offers free self-service vacuums and monthly memberships for unlimited car washes. “We also think our team of happy and energetic managers and cashiers provide exceptional customer service,” Kimball said. “And that results in repeated recognition as Sacramento’s favorite car wash.”

There are two new Quick Quack Car Washes under construction in the Roseville and Arden areas with future expansion plans underway, Kimball said. Information about grand openings and their signature “10 Days of Free Car Washes” that accompanies each grand opening can be found on Quick Quack’s Facebook page and the company’s website: DontDriveDirty.com.

About Quick Quack Car Wash

Click here for more details. Quick Quack's reclaim system uses as little as eight gallons of fresh water per car and the environmentally friendly shampoos are biodegradable and non-corrosive.

Besides being more environmentally friendly than traditional commercial car washes, Quick Quack wants to pull people out of their driveway. A person washing their own car in their driveway uses 50-150 gallons of fresh water. That water mixes with harmful soaps that go down the storm drains that lead to streams and rivers.

Quick Quack is a proud member of WaterSavers, a car wash industry program dedicated to raising awareness for water conservation and environnmentally friendly practices at professional car washes.

Quick Quack was the first Sacramento area car wash to be certified as a green car wash by the Sacramento Business Environmental Resource Center. Quick Quack is proud to participate in the Sacramento Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) green business program.
